The GLLEN in partnership with other organisations has trained Young Industry Ambassadors since 2010. The GLLEN is committed to ongoing training.

Young Industry Ambassadors are trained to present their own career pathways to students in upper primary and secondary schools. The diverse pathways young employees have taken can enlighten school student’s knowledge about the various pathways to achieve career goals and see the value of remaining at school. YIAs are usually between the ages of 20 to 30 years so that school students can easily relate to them.
